I have heard that Memories are Souvenirs..
And those include both the good and the bad
Wish I could erase and throw the negatives
But that would indeed be foolish and unrealistic!
Memories are something I cherish..
Can't imagine myself being devoid of them
Hoping that my Hard-Drive is big, strong and tough
To capture and store them long enough!
Memories are intense and profound..
Becoming much more meaningful than the actual episode
They go beyond verbal description
Or even any form of expression..
Memories turn precious and invaluable
As time goes on and we grow old..
We realize their worth when we understand..
There isn't going to be a rundown or recap..
I don't have a clue as to what I would do
In case I lose my memory in a state of fugue!
Hoping that such an event never occurs..
As I know my Memories are my best companions!
Writing about them has made me nostalgic..
And so now I'll go through its winding lanes
Ending up in a traffic but still lost in bliss..
Amidst not only photographs, diaries, and greetings,
But also post cards, e-mails, messages, all mixed..!
Accompanied by emotions, with smiles and tears on my face in equal parts...
Remembering each and every detail of an interesting and wonderful past!
Together I lovingly call them all as Rewind Raagaas...!
Whilst crossing my heart and thanking my lucky stars
For all the Priceless Moments I have got!
